Machine Capabilities

A one-stop welding, fabrication, machining, fitting and heat treatment shop specialising in medium to heavy engineering manufacturing solutions.

With a large 50,000m2 site (i.e. 31,000m2 hardstand and 19,000m2 under roof) and heavy lifting capacity (i.e. 11 overhead cranes with dual hoist capacity and able to lift up to 80T) we have the ability to service and manage all aspects of projects in house.

Our high capacity Machine shop contains over 55 individual machines offering small to large turning & milling services.  These include an extensive range of CNC horizontal, vertical mills, lathes and floor borers and dynamic and static balancing up to 10 tonnes and 4M diameter. Working closely with our customers we strip, diagnose, report, repair, replace and assemble mechanical equipment and often make recommendations on increasing equipment life.

Our multipurpose Fabrication shop allows us to offer small to large custom industrial fabrication and welding to all codes (i.e. pressure vessel, Mig, Tig and Stick applications).   We are also one of the very few places that offer hot riveting up to 32mm.

Our Fabrication shop offers pressing capacity up to 1,500T, guillotines up to 12mm, rolls up to 40mm, punch & sheers, track welding machines, multi head cutting machine up to 300mm thickness 6M by 24M bed and supported by a fleet of forklifts from 3.5T to 20T capacity.

Heat treatment services include normalising, stress relieving and annealing but does not include quenching. With a number of our customers nationwide we have access to major arterial roads, ports and rail running directly into our workshops. We also offer onsite offices for our customers to utilise as required.
